Why Volunteer?

Volunteering with Aracari is more than giving your time—it's an opportunity to be part of something sacred. You'll support ceremonies, help with events, and contribute to preserving indigenous wisdom for future generations.

We welcome volunteers with various skills and backgrounds, from event coordination and outreach to land stewardship and administrative support.

Volunteer FAQ

Do I need prior experience with ancestral traditions to volunteer?

Not necessarily. While familiarity with our pillars of action is welcomed, the most important requirements are a willingness to serve, a humble attitude, and a commitment to integrity. We look for individuals who are ready to support the container with respect and awareness.

What kind of tasks will I be supporting?

Volunteering at Aracari is about being of service to the mission. Tasks vary depending on current needs but often include logistical support for events, permaculture and land stewardship, kitchen assistance, digital outreach, and helping maintain our community spaces.

Is there a minimum time commitment?

Yes. To ensure stability and a deep connection within the team, we generally ask for a minimum commitment of 1 month. This allows you to fully integrate into the rhythm of the foundation and make a meaningful contribution.

Do I need to speak Spanish?

Since our foundation is based in Panama and works closely with local communities, basic Spanish skills are highly beneficial. However, for certain roles focused on digital support or English-speaking retreats, fluent English is sufficient.

How does the application process work?

The first step is to book a call in the button "Join Our Mission". If your skills and intentions align with our current needs, we will invite you for a second interview to discuss shared expectations and ensure that this path of service is right for you.
